Legal
Terms of Service
Last updated: pending publication
This is a working draft published for structure and review. It is not yet the final, lawyer-reviewed agreement and should not be relied upon. The definitive version will replace this text before StageLink opens to the public.
1. Introduction and acceptance
StageLink provides artist pages, EPKs, links, analytics, integrations, and subscription features. By using StageLink you accept these terms and our privacy documents, and you confirm you are legally able to enter into this agreement.
2. Eligibility and accounts
Account creators must be at least 18 and must provide accurate information. You are responsible for your account access and team permissions. Authentication is handled through WorkOS / AuthKit.
3. Artist pages, EPKs, and public content
You choose what to publish. Public pages, EPKs, images, links, and contact details may be visible to anyone, and you must have the rights to the content you upload or link. Keep booking and contact information accurate.
We may remove or disable content that violates these terms, the law, our security rules, or third-party rights.
4. User responsibilities
You must not use StageLink for illegal activity; harassment, hate, exploitation, or abusive content; impersonation; uploading malware; violating copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights; scraping, reverse engineering, or attacking the platform; circumventing rate limits, auth, or access controls; or sending spam or collecting emails without proper consent.
5. Fan, subscriber, and contact data
Artists are responsible for the lawful use of fan and subscriber data collected through StageLink, must honor unsubscribe and deletion requests where applicable, and must not collect data without permission. StageLink may provide tools to store consent evidence but does not make your marketing compliant by default.
6. Integrations
Integrations such as Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud, Shopify, Printful/Printify, and Stripe are optional. By connecting one you authorize StageLink to access integration data only for the features you choose; third-party terms apply. We may stop supporting an integration or require reauthorization, and you can disconnect at any time.
7. Subscriptions, billing, and plans
StageLink offers Free, Pro, and Pro+ plans. Payments are processed by Stripe. Billing cycles, cancellations, upgrades/downgrades, taxes, and payment failures apply as described in the product. Access to paid-only features is not guaranteed after cancellation or non-payment.
Subscriptions are billed in advance for each period and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; access continues to the end of the period you already paid for, and no further charges are made. Part-used periods are not refunded except where consumer law requires it. Consumers in the EU, the UK and other jurisdictions with an equivalent right may withdraw within 14 days of purchase; asking us to start the service immediately means that right ends once the service has been fully performed. Nothing here limits any refund a consumer is entitled to by law.
8. Acceptable use and anti-abuse
We may rate-limit, suspend, or restrict accounts for abuse. Security controls may block suspicious behavior, and we may investigate suspicious uploads, contact forms, or login attacks.
9. Intellectual property
You keep ownership of your content and grant StageLink a license to host, display, process, resize, translate, cache, and transmit it to operate the service. StageLink owns its software, brand, UI, and platform materials, and may use feedback to improve the platform.
10. Service availability and changes
StageLink may evolve, suspend, or discontinue features, and integrations or third-party services may fail or change. Analytics may be estimates and may exclude bot, QA, or internal traffic. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
11. Termination and suspension
You may cancel or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, risk, legal request, payment failure, or abuse. Termination may affect public pages, EPKs, assets, subscriptions, and retained records.
12. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent allowed by law the service is provided “as is,” with no guarantee of bookings, audience growth, revenue, or platform results. Your mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
The service is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, nor for lost profits, revenue, goodwill or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or fifty US dollars if you paid nothing. None of this excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under mandatory consumer-protection law.
13. Indemnity
You may be required to indemnify StageLink for your content, rights violations, unlawful marketing or contact practices, misuse of integrations, and breach of these terms.
If you use StageLink for a business or professional activity, you agree to defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from the content you publish, from your use of the service in breach of these terms, or from your infringement of another party rights. We will tell you promptly about any such claim and will not settle it without your agreement. This indemnity does not apply to consumers, and does not extend to anything caused by our own negligence or breach.
14. Governing law and disputes
StageLink LLC is formed under the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. These terms are governed by Wyoming law, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of Sheridan County, Wyoming have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts. There is no arbitration clause and no class-action waiver.
