StageLink vs Blót for DJs
Most comparison pages are written about a product solving a different problem. This one is not. Blót builds a free DJ page with a bio, mixes, events, a booking contact and a downloadable tech rider — which is very close to the thing we build, for the same person.

When Blót is the better choice
Choose Blót if you are a DJ and only a DJ, and you want a custom domain: theirs is on a paid tier and ours does not exist yet. Their product is narrower on purpose, and narrower is an advantage when it matches you exactly — nothing on the page is there for a band or a label. They also publish a large library of DJ-specific guides and templates, which is genuinely useful whether or not you use their builder.
Where the two actually diverge
The rider is not the difference — they have one, and pretending otherwise would be the easiest way to lose your trust on the first row of the table. The difference is scope and audience.
Blót is DJ-first, end to end. StageLink starts from the same page but also models a producer discography, a band gallery, a label roster and a booker dossier, and it holds things a DJ page does not need: merch, a mailing list, a second language. If you are only ever going to be a DJ page, that extra surface is weight you are not using.
Language and scene
Blót is English-only. StageLink is built bilingual — interface and public page — which matters if your scene is Spanish-speaking and the promoters writing to you are not.
The honest summary
If you are a DJ with no merch, no mailing list and no need for Spanish, the two products will feel similar and their custom domain may decide it. If you are also releasing, selling something, or growing into a roster, the difference compounds over time rather than on day one.
Is Blót really free?
Their DJ EPK builder is advertised as free, with a paid tier for the custom domain. That is what their public page said when we checked in September 2026; we have not tested the account flow ourselves and we are not going to describe what we have not seen.
Can I try both?
Yes, and for two free products that is the sensible thing to do rather than reading either of our comparison pages. Build the same kit on both and see which one you would rather send.
Why write a comparison against a product this similar?
Because you are going to find them anyway — they rank for the queries we want, and AI answers name them and not us. A page that pretended the overlap did not exist would be less useful than no page.
