EPKBuilder has been building press kits since 2019 and says it serves over ten thousand artists. If a press kit is all you want, it is a focused, free, working answer. This page is about the part where the two products stop overlapping.

When EPKBuilder is the better choice
Choose EPKBuilder if the press kit is the only thing you need and you want it on a domain you own — custom domains are on their Pro plan and not on ours yet. Their press gallery with high-resolution downloads is also more developed than our print view, which matters if journalists actually ask you for assets. And their free tier allows ten photos against the five blocks on ours, so a photo-heavy kit fits without paying.
One document, or two
A press kit is written for someone who already knows your name: a promoter, a booker, a journalist. It is sent, not found. That is a real job and EPKBuilder does it.
What it does not do is the other half — the page a fan opens from your Instagram bio, which has a different audience, a different order and a different job. On EPKBuilder your press kit is your only public surface. On StageLink they are two things that share the same profile data, so your bio and photos are entered once.
The rider
For a DJ or a live act, the single most-requested document after the bio is the technical rider, and EPKBuilder has no model for it. It ends up as a PDF in the email that goes with the link, which is exactly the situation a press kit link was supposed to end.
Language
EPKBuilder is English-only. If you are pitching in Spanish — or pitching in English from a Spanish-speaking scene — the interface and the page both being bilingual is not a minor convenience.
Is EPKBuilder actually free?
Its Basic tier is free and hosted, with one featured song, up to ten photos and five sections. Videos, extra songs, multiple themes and custom domains are on the paid tier. Those limits are from their pricing page as of September 2026.
Can I have a press kit on both?
Nothing stops you, but two kits means two places to update, and the one you update less is the one someone will be holding. Pick the URL that goes in your emails.
Which one do promoters prefer?
Neither, and anyone claiming otherwise is guessing. Promoters care that the link opens on a phone, that the information is current and that the contact works. Both clear that bar.
