StageLink vs Linkfire
Linkfire is a release-marketing tool: one link that sends a listener to whichever streaming service they use, with the analytics a label needs to judge a campaign. It is very good at that and StageLink does not try to replace it.

When Linkfire is the better choice
Choose Linkfire if your problem is campaigns. Per-release smart links, pre-save flows, campaign-level analytics and multiple artist workspaces under one account are its reason to exist, and none of those are things we do. If you are a label running several releases a month, this is not a close call.
Two different jobs
A smart link is about one release and it is temporary: it matters for the weeks around a launch. An artist page is about you and it is permanent: it is what stays in your bio between releases.
They are not alternatives. An artist can reasonably use a Linkfire link for the single and a StageLink page for everything else, and plenty of people should.
The cost difference is structural
Linkfire has no free tier — a trial, then plans from $27 a month according to its pricing page. That price is aimed at someone running campaigns, which is a job with a budget attached. An artist who wants a page in their bio is not that person, and paying campaign prices for a permanent page is the wrong shape of spend.
What we do not do
We have country rules on a link, which is a much smaller thing than a smart link product: no per-service routing table, no pre-save, no campaign reporting. If you read our smart links and expect Linkfire, you will be disappointed, and it is better to say so here than after you switch.
Can I use Linkfire and StageLink together?
Yes, and it is a common shape: the Linkfire link goes in the release announcement, the StageLink page goes in the bio, and the page links to the release.
Does StageLink do pre-saves?
No. It is a real gap against Linkfire and we are not going to describe our link rules as if they were the same feature.
Which one do I need if I am starting out?
Almost certainly the page. Campaign tooling pays off when there is a campaign; a page pays off the first time someone asks where they can hear you.
