DJ and live act press kit template
If what you sell is a night, your press kit should look like one. Cinematic opens on a full-screen image with your name over it, which is how a show gets announced.
The difference from Studio is not decorative, it is reading order. Studio leads with text and treats images as support; Cinematic leads with the image and lets the text follow. For an act whose argument is how it looks and sounds live, that order is right: a photo of a packed booth at three in the morning says what you are faster than two paragraphs of biography.
The dark background is the default, not an alternative theme. Live photos are almost always dark — coloured lights, haze, backlight — and on a light background they read as holes. On a dark one they sit in, and the small amount of text gains weight precisely because there is little of it.
What that hero costs
Worth saying plainly: a full-screen image pushes everything else down. Whoever opens the EPK sees your photo before your dates, and if dates are what they came for they have to scroll. It is a deliberate trade and not always the right one — if agents open your press kit looking for facts, Studio serves them faster.
Who it suits
- DJs and electronic producers — it is the visual language of the scene, and looking off-code is expensive.
- Bands with good live photos — if you paid for a session, this is the template that uses it.
- Audiovisual acts — when the show has a visual half, the press kit has to show it.

Pro and up. The free plan ships Studio, which is a complete press kit — Cinematic changes how it looks, not what you can put in it.
Does it work if my photos are not professional?
It is the most photo-dependent of the three. With one mediocre image at full screen, Studio will leave you looking better. If you have one good shot, even just one, this template uses it.
Does it print well?
It prints the worst of the three, and that is worth knowing: a full-bleed dark background eats ink and comes out muddy. If your EPK gets printed often, Studio is the choice. The print view exists on all three regardless.
Can I change the colours?
Palette control lives in Press Bureau, which is Pro+. Cinematic has a fixed look, and that is part of what makes it quick to use: there is nothing to decide.
